As a Direct Support Professional, you’ll work 1-on-1 with clients inside their homes and support them with the following types of activities:

In‑Home Assistance – help your clients with day‑to‑day activities such as preparing meals, cleaning, dressing, grooming, laundry, monitoring vital signs, bathing, toileting, and using technology.

Companionship – join your clients in playing games, arts and crafts, and accompany them to appointments, grocery shopping and other errands.

Community Building – create a safe and positive living situation for your clients by communicating with the family and other staff about any concerns or challenges.

A high school diploma or GED

CPR/First Aid certified or willing to obtain prior to employment

Flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to spend evenings and weekends caring for your clients with dignity, patience, and compassion

Dedication to professional development, including organizational and state-required training
