Head of Strategy (Remote)

Director, Corporate Strategy In this role, you will help shape Amgen’s long‑term direction by leading initiatives that inform the company’s most important business decisions. Reporting to the Vice President of Corporate Strategy, you will partner closely with senior leaders across the enterprise to evaluate opportunities, address complex business questions, and position the company for long‑term success.

Lead enterprise initiatives that address important business opportunities and challenges, partnering across functions to develop thoughtful recommendations and concise, compelling communications for senior leadership.

Conduct market, competitive, portfolio, and financial analyses, evaluating industry trends, competitive dynamics, emerging technologies, and other external developments to inform executive decision‑making.

What We Expect of You Doctorate degree and 4 years of healthcare business experience OR Master’s degree and 7 years OR Bachelor’s degree and 9 years.

MBA preferred.

Excellent executive communication and presentation skills, including experience developing materials for senior leadership.

Strong analytical and financial skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into practical business recommendations.

Experience working effectively across functions and building alignment without direct authority.

Additional Information This role may be performed remotely; however, flexibility to support Pacific Time working hours during periods of high business activity is expected.
