RN, Registered Nurse - Emergency Care Clinic

Role Overview:
Provide patient-centered nursing care in a fast-paced outpatient setting, including preoperative assessment, patient education, and surgical site verification.

Key Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients prior to surgery, prepare patients with IV therapy and medications, participate in safety protocols, recognize emergencies, monitor and document patient conditions, and educate patients and families about procedures and follow-up care.

Team Collaboration & Environment:
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, engage in continuous improvement, and contribute to a respectful, collaborative culture with updated equipment and supportive leadership.

Qualifications & Skills:
RN license with a diploma, associate, or bachelor’s degree. Certification in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required, with ACLS obtained within one year of employment. Ability to assess, think critically, and deliver safe, evidence-based care.

Shift & Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts from 07:00-16:30, with preposted schedules for predictability.
