Job DescriptionJob DescriptionImplement a Systems Engineering approach to new feature design to meet customer needs. Lead the development of a feature at the systems engineering level from early feature development to production and lead feature upgrade and migration plan. Develop high level ECU, network, and function distribution topologies / block diagrams to define how a feature interacts and is connected to the hardware and software functions. Allocate features and functions across electronic modules and subsystems to meet cost, quality and feature customer and performance targets Develop feature specifications, feature Failure Mode Avoidance documentation, feature verification plan, etc. Review existing system designs to find new opportunities for cost or quality improvement. Interact with program teams, core engineers and functional areas to create balanced solutions to challenging requirements Develop relationships with multi-functional teams and supply base to learn about the latest technologies and possible implementation.
