Dental Hygienist - Fulltime

The practice offers a full range of services, including general dentistry, dental implants, veneers, crowns, emergency dental care, and custom mouth guards. Role Description The Registered Dental Hygienist is a full-time, on-site role located in Vacaville, CA. This role performs comprehensive dental hygiene services, including dental prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, scaling and root planing, and patient education on oral health and preventive care. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing patient medical histories, taking and recording periodontal measurements, assisting with diagnosis and treatment planning, and collaborating closely with dentists and dental assistants. The hygienist will maintain accurate clinical documentation, follow infection control protocols, and contribute to a positive, respectful, and efficient patient experience.
Strong clinical skills in Dentistry and Dental Care, with the ability to provide safe, effective treatment and support for a wide range of patient needs.
Proficiency in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis, including thorough cleanings, oral health assessments, and preventive care education.
Experience is preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
Knowledge of Periodontal Disease, including identification of risk factors, treatment of periodontal conditions, and ongoing maintenance care.
Team player that proactively contributes to office responsibilites
Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of California and compliance with all relevant regulatory and professional standards.
Commitment to infection control, patient safety, and high-quality clinical documentation, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a busy dental practice, demonstrate cultural sensitivity, and provide compassionate, non-judgmental care to diverse patient populations.
CPR certification and familiarity with dental practice management systems and digital charting are preferred.
