Registered Nurse - NICU - Hospital

RN NICU

Provide nursing care to NICU patients with health conditions ranging from simple to complex.
Assume responsibility for an assigned group of patients.
Monitor physiological data and patient responses; intervene as needed.
Administer medications, IV infusions, and blood products as prescribed.
Assist physicians with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and treatments.
Document patient responses, nursing interventions, and changes in physician orders.
Deliver competent patient care and communicate the care plan with patients and families.
Educate patients and families regarding hospital procedures and discharge needs.
Make appropriate referrals based on patient care needs.
Delegate tasks to support staff.
Maintain effective communication and working relationships with healthcare team members.
Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
Level IV NICU experience required.
Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Current Oklahoma RN license or current Multistate Compact RN license.
BLS (American Heart Association).
NRP (American Heart Association).
