Seasonal LVN - ER

Plasma Center Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Hourly wage range: $24.32 - $33.44 USD (approximately $49K - $67K annually)

Responsibilities

Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis (SPE) results.

Manage donor adverse events and review laboratory test results.

Notify donors of unsuitable test results and refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs when necessary.

Follow SOPs for medical emergencies and assist in donor transport to emergency care facilities.

Support Hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees.

Manage employee incidents and coordinate further evaluation with occupational health/ER.

Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations related to pandemic threats.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate equivalent of a recognized educational nursing program with state requirements.

Current license or certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in the state of employment.

Current CPR and AED certification.

Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy.

Completion of FDA approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.

At least two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting.

Compensation and Benefits
Hourly Wage : $24.32 - $33.44 USD
