Full Time - Remote - Psychologist (Telehealth)

PsychologistProvides a full range of psychodiagnostic services, including assessment and using the most appropriate psychotherapeutic techniques in providing quality care.Ability to diagnose mental health disorders, conduct psychological and/or neuropsychological assessments utilizing the current version of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM).Responsible for completing current suicide awareness and prevention related training and demonstrating ability to implement associated suicide prevention screening, evaluation and safety planning, as indicated.Conducts patient care services through face to face, and telehealth mediums, to include, but not limited to video and telephonic means.Functions independently as a member of the BPVAHCS Medical Staff, with full clinical privileges.Adheres to operational policies and procedures for the treatment team, established by the Service Chief, MH&BSS.Assists clinic and program managers in the design and execution of ongoing program evaluation and data-driven quality improvement projects to monitor the effectiveness of the clinical program and specific interventions.Attends and participates in administrative and informational meetings held by the Service Chief and facility Director.Provides clinical supervision and instruction for psychology students, to include those in post-doctoral, internship, and practicum programs.Assists/advises other staff in processes and procedures related to VHA, BPVAHCS, or program specific performance measures and/or program outcome and evaluation.Identifies performance improvement needs and solutions as requested, to include active contributions to improve performance measures.Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pmRecruitment Incentive (Sign-on Bonus): Learn morePaid Time Off: 37-50 days of annual paid time offer per year (13-26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays per year) Selected applicants may qualify for credit toward annual leave accrual, based on prior [work experience] or military service experience.After 12 months of employment, up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave in connection with the birth, adoption, or foster care placement of a child.Child Care Subsidy: After 60 days of employment, full time employees with a total family income below $144,000 may be eligible for a childcare subsidy up to 25% of total eligible childcare costs for eligible children up to the monthly maximum of $416.66Retirement: Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401K with up to 5% in contributions by VAInsurance: Federal health/vision/dental/term life/long-term care (many federal insurance programs can be carried into retirement)Telework: This position may be authorized for ad-hoc telework.
