Contract: 13 Weeks | 40 Hours/Week
Schedule: M-F | 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
Pay Local: $80 - $90/hr
Pay Travel: $3550 - $4000 Gross weekly
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Provide clinical pharmacy services for oncology and infusion patients.
Review and verify chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and infusion medication orders for accuracy and appropriateness.
Utilize Epic Beacon for oncology medication management, order verification, and documentation.
Ensure appropriate dosing, drug selection, interactions, allergies, and contraindications are reviewed.
Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy.
Prepare and oversee the safe dispensing of hazardous and non-hazardous medications according to established protocols.
Support medication safety, quality assurance, and compliance with pharmacy standards.
Provide drug information and clinical recommendations to healthcare providers and patients when appropriate.
Monitor patients' medication therapy and identify potential adverse effects or drug-related problems.
Maintain accurate pharmacy records and documentation within the electronic health record.
Follow applicable oncology, infusion, USP, and medication safety protocols .
Support pharmacy operations and workflow to ensure timely delivery of medications to infusion services.
Requirements
Active Washington State Pharmacist License
BLS Certification - Required
Experience in Oncology/Infusion Pharmacy
Epic Beacon experience - Required
Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) experience - Preferred
Ability to work Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
Ability to work the scheduled day shift
