Registered Nurse (RN)- (LPN) (PRN) DAYSHIFT

Job Summary As a Nursing Assistant, you will assist the Registered Nurse in implementing the plan of care for a group of patients and provide quality patient care in a technical role. You will model appropriate behavior and contribute to a mission of caring for the community.
Responsibilities Contribute to the nursing assessment by collecting, reporting, and recording objective and subjective data.
Provide direct care in a safe manner.
Evaluate the plan of care continuously.
Communicate effectively in writing and orally with patients, families, and the health team.
Participate in activities designed to improve health care delivery in the assigned area.
Education & Experience Required: Technical Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
Preferred: No prior work experience.
Licenses & Certifications Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (Required)
Licensed Practical Nurse - Tennessee, Board of Nursing (Required)
Licensed Practical Nurse - Mississippi, Board of Nursing (Preferred)
Licensed Practical Nurse - Arkansas, State Board of Nursing (Preferred)
Physical Demands The physical activities may include climbing, pushing, standing, hearing, walking, reaching, grasping, kneeling, stooping, and repetitive motion. Must have good balance and coordination. Exertions up to 50 lbs occasionally and up to 25 lbs frequently. Must have close visual acuity and ability to perform tasks such as assessing patients, reading, and operating a computer terminal. Frequent invasive and non-invasive patient contact and exposure to patient body fluids and hazardous or poisonous materials. Ability to react quickly to emergency situations.
Supervision and Working Conditions There are no supervisory or lead responsibilities assigned to this position. This role is performed in a clinical environment with typical patient‑care responsibilities.
