The Registered Nurse in Admission and/or Discharge coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care by overseeing the effective management of patients into and out of the acute care hospital setting. The RN Admission/Discharge utilizes specialized assessment skills to ensure quality admission to the appropriate care areas, and also safe discharges of acute care patients requiring education and post hospitalization care. The RN Admission/Discharge serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and optimum clinical outcomes.

• Current Registered Nurse license in Tennessee or appropriate compact state
• TriStar Skyline Medical Center is a 250+ bed facility. In addition, we are equipped with 3 helipads, new ICU and Medical/Surgical floors, and burn care services. We offer a CARF accredited Inpatient Rehabilitation program and are an ACS verified Level II Trauma Center. As an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI, TriStar Skyline is a leading provider of emergency heart care.
