Certified Medical Assistant
SCHEDULE: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM + every other weekend
FACILITY: Wexford Health Sources, Inc. is one of the nation's largest correctional healthcare providers, serving justice-involved patients for over 30 years. Many of our patients are receiving their first experience with quality, compassionate care -and it starts with you.
As a Certified Medical Assistant at our facility, you'll provide direct support to physicians, nurses, and mid-level providers while ensuring patients receive safe, accurate, and timely care. Obtaining and monitoring patient vital signs
Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining clean, stocked equipment and supplies
Gathering and documenting patient data accurately
Providing basic first aid and CPR when required
Maintaining inventory, checking expiration dates, and restocking supply areas and first aid kits
Sterilizing instruments and ensuring proper recordkeeping of medical equipment and supplies
Performing clerical duties including answering phones, filing, and chart documentation
You'll do more than support the medical team.
