Head of Finance, Planning

This role can be based out of the following hubs: We rely on in-person collaboration and ask that team members work onsite Tuesdays through Fridays, with the flexibility to work remotely on Mondays, unless there is an approved workplace accommodation.

Some roles may also require legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment.
As the Strategic Finance Manager, you will report directly to the Director of Strategic Finance. You will play a significant role in the Company’s three‑statement financial forecast, develop and present executive reporting packages, build and maintain financial models, and assist in the planning and implementation of ad‑hoc initiatives. You will join a demanding environment that favors agility, initiative, and creative thinking.

Assist in the management of Axon’s P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash

Ownership of our intra-quarter forecast process and identify key risks & opportunities

Analyze financial results and provide insightful commentary on financial performance

Participate in corporate FP&A meetings such as executive corporate forecast reviews and budget vs. Assist with ad‑hoc FP&A projects that arise due to our rapid growth

Advanced degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Accounting

Minimum of 4 years of finance experience including financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and business analytics in a dynamic, high-growth environment

Proven history of developing and maintaining three‑statement financial models

Excellent analytical, oral and written communication skills for frequent interaction with financial and non‑financial business leaders

Superb attention to detail, strong planning and organization skills, and the ability to multi‑task, prioritize and deliver in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Concern for high-quality deliverables and deadlines
