### Exciting Opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist in NICU!

• **Unit:** 111-1000-11403 - Respiratory Therapist - NICU - Hemby
• **Shift:** Night 3x12-Hour (18:45 - 07:15)
• **Experience Required:** Minimum 2 years of experience with Pediatrics or NICU (not both).
• **Charting System:** Preferred experience with Epic.

**RRT

**Drawing and interpreting arterial blood gases (ABGs)

• Ventilator management (BiPAP, CPAP, troubleshooting high pressure alarms, weaning from mechanical ventilation)
• Nebulizer therapy (cold, hand-held, T-piece, trach collar)

**NICU

• Pediatric Critical Care
• Emergency Department
• Pediatrics

**Airway management and suctioning (extubation, nasal and oral suctioning, tracheostomy care)

• Oxygen therapy (High Flow Nasal Cannula, trach collar)
• Monitoring patients in a variety of settings
• Flexibility to float throughout pediatric units and floors as needed
• Weekend coverage every third weekend

**Neonates, Infants, and Pediatrics

• Special Procedures/Unit Details:**
• Ability to work in NICU and PICU is **REQUIRED**
• 50% - 60% of NICU & PICU cases daily

**Traveling Experience: 1st-time travelers welcome

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
