Conducting thorough patient evaluations, ordering necessary diagnostic procedures, and developing tailored care strategies

Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic conditions in partnership with physicians or independently (according to credentialing)

Engaging in patient follow-ups and overseeing chronic care management

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, patient-centered care

Meticulously documenting patient interactions and care plans in electronic medical records (EMR)

Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)

Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Current Nurse Practitioner licensure in North Carolina

National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty

Exceptional communication skills with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals

Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and comfort with telehealth platforms
