Job Description:
Job Summary
The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming dining experience by greeting guests, managing seating arrangements, maintaining knowledge of food and beverage menus, supporting restaurant operations, and ensuring the front-of-house area remains clean, organized, and guest-ready.
Key Responsibilities:

Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage guest seating and maintain an organized waiting list.
Maintain knowledge of food and beverage menus to assist guests.
Answer telephone calls and follow hospitality and customer service standards.
Keep the host/hostess station stocked, organized, and presentable.
Monitor and replenish restroom supplies while maintaining cleanliness.
Support a team environment focused on excellent guest service and sales.
Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional restaurant environment.
Perform additional duties as needed to support restaurant operations.
Requirements:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of restaurant hospitality standards and telephone etiquette.
Basic knowledge of food and beverage menus.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods.
Ability to work flexible schedules based on business needs.
