This role is a mid-level role for individuals looking to start a career in environmental services and wastewater management.Competitive Hourly Pay: Market-based pay with annual performance reviews and pay increases based on company and individual performance.Comprehensive Benefits: Choose from one of three medical plans, based on your needs, dental, and vision coverage, along with a 401(k) with 5% company matchCareer Growth: Training programs and advancement opportunities in wastewater operations and environmental servicesPaid Time Off: Generous PTO policy accrues from day 1, with floating and company-paid holidays.Additional Perks: Company-paid life and disability insurance, employee assistance program, and moreSupportive Leadership: Leadership that values safety, professionalism, and growthEssential Job FunctionsAssist in monitoring and controlling wastewater treatment processes, including screening, sedimentation, filtration, controlling pH and polymer dosing, and disinfection.Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of treatment equipment, pumps, and tanks.Record operational data, maintain logs, and prepare accurate reports as required.Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot, and if necessary, assist in repairing equipment and process issues.Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in wastewater treatment operations.Monitor and operate pumps, valves, DAF, screeners, cake disposal and other equipment to control the flow and treatment of wastewater.Adjust chemical feed rates and other controls to ensure proper treatment processes, under the direction of the Lead or Technician II.
