RN Hospital Oncology Night Shift

Registered Nurse Oncology

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Oncology Duration: Winter Contract (13 or 18 weeks) Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 1.5 years in oncology or related experience License: Any active state RN license or compact license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, OCN (preferred) Must-Have: Must have oncology experience. Must work a minimum of every other holiday. Must have EPIC experience. Must have experience in Stepdown/Advanced Care units. Must be able to float to all Stepdown/Advanced Care units. Description: This is a 35-bed medical and radiation oncology unit specializing in oncology and hematology patients. The unit sees both Med-Surg and Advanced Care patients. A high volume of blood products and chemotherapy patients are cared for on this unit. Nurses administer chemotherapy with ONS Certification. Nurses will be fitted for N95 prior to working in designated units. Travelers may be assigned to float to various units based on need. Floating may include high-risk respiratory units or other facility campuses. Candidates must be comfortable with a flexible floating schedule. Travelers must be available to work every other weekend and holiday. Maximum of 14 days off allowed per contract. All nursing staff will be part of an interdisciplinary care team. Travel nurse candidates will be the first to float as needed.
