The Quality Assurance Engineer is responsible for executing and improving key QMS processes to drive improvements in FEUS processes and product quality, at a pace consistent with the needs of our strategic customers.

The Quality Engineer works closely with the Operation and Business organizations to ensure quality strategies are consistently executed to meet customer’s and corporation’s quality expectations.

Drive root cause analysis, using proven 8D/MBPS methodologies, to identify root causes of problems identified. Includes facilitating customer taskforce activities.

Actively support organization’s ISO-9001 Quality Management goals, in such areas as Audits, Documentation Control, Non-Conforming Material, PCP/FMEA, and Calibration.

Provide training to personnel to ensure awareness of quality expectations.

Interact with customers to identify opportunities to improve quality and establish feedback with Operations and Business personnel.

Support the manufacturing groups to design, implement and document procedures for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.

Reports directly to the Quality Manager

Minimum bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering or equivalent technical degree, with specialization in Quality Systems and Statistics.

  • 1 to 3 years of experience in QA systems, (semiconductor industry preferred).
  • Open to traveling. Visits to other manufacturing sites, supplier and customer sites (including occasional overseas travel)
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
