EVERY OTHER WEEKEND.OurCardiacMedicalUnitisa42-bedunitconcentratingonCardiacTelemetry.Nursesinthisareahavea1:6ratioandprovideunparalleledcaretopredominatelycardiacpatientsrequiringtreatmentforchestpain,shortnessofbreath,palpitations,orothervariouscardiacarrhythmias.Inaddition,thisunitwillfurtherprovidecaretoavarietyofmedicalpatientswithpneumonia,GIissues,COPD,diabetes,andoccasionalstroke,aswellassurgicalpatients.Ourdedicatedteamofnursingandancillarystaffprovidespatient-centeredcaretosupporteachspecializedpatient srecoverywiththegoalofreachingoptimalpatientoutcomesforall.Education-Required AssociateddegreeinnursingCertifications Required AHABLSOR RED CROSSLicenses Required RegisteredNurseStateofAlabamaorcompactlicense(NoTempLicenses'accepted) NURSYSExperience-Required: 2yearsexperience;however,willconsider18monthsofexperience,workingunderthehighestlevelofprofessionallicense,andmusthave1yearof RECENT experienceinthefieldofspecialty.
