RDA/DENTAL ASSISTANCE

Overview

Full‑time Dental Assistant role based at both Arlington and Cambridge Gentle Dental offices. The position supports dental teams in providing high‑quality patient care while maintaining efficient clinic operations.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and prepare treatment rooms.

Assist during a variety of dental procedures (chairside assistance).

Expose radiographs and take intra‑oral photographs.

Provide post‑operative instructions and patient education.

Prepare, break down, disinfect, and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments.

Maintain strict compliance with infection control, CDC, OSHA, and HIPAA regulations.

Manage dental supply inventory.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Demonstrate strong teamwork and adaptability to changing provider schedules.

Qualifications

Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.

Certified Dental Assistant (C.D.A.) preferred.

Relevant certifications, licensure, or registration required by state.
