Direct Support Professional (DSP) Afternoon and Midnight Shifts

Integrated Life Choices (ILC) is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).
DSPs at ILC provide support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a variety of settings to ensure they have a meaningful life. As a DSP, you will work with individuals to support them in achieving their hopes and dreams.
The ideal candidate for this position is someone who is interested in supporting people in achieving their hopes and dreams. As a DSP, you will be responsible for maintaining consistent engagement with the people you are supporting, whether they are at home or out in the community. You will be required to work independently, create safe environments, and provide accurate documentation for the support provided during every shift. Supporting people in understanding and exercising their rights
Providing the best person-centered supports to meet people's needs throughout their lives
Supporting and encouraging positive interactions
Providing transportation for those you are supporting
Supporting and encouraging participation in groups or organizations in line with a person's personal interests to meet recreational and social needs
Utilizing Positive Support Programs to guide daily interactions
Supporting a person with personal hygiene and medical-related needs, including medication administration
Providing documentation at the end of each shift
DSPs who work at ILC locations support individuals with planned activities that encourage community inclusion, habilitation, and activities of daily living.
Vocational Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday: 7am-5pm
Residential Hours of Operation: Evenings: 3pm-10pm, Overnights: 10pm-8:30am, and Days Sat/Sun: 8am-3pm.

Supporting a person to and from a shower
Providing transportation for the people we support is an essential function of the DSP position. ILC requires all DSPs to have a reliable vehicle at every shift.

Valid driver's license and auto insurance
$16.5 - $18 per hour
