Weekend Psychologist

Conduct psychological evaluations and gather clinical histories

Administer appropriate assessments and develop diagnostic impressions within scope of practice

Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and other appropriate psychological interventions

Establish treatment goals with clients

Monitor client progress and modify treatment when needed

Make referrals when another service is more appropriate

Assess and respond to suicide, self-harm, abuse, violence, and other urgent risks

Maintain accurate, timely, and secure clinical records

Provide assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant communications

Serve diverse populations across the lifespan

Collaborate within a multidisciplinary clinical team

Focus on patient-centered, culturally responsive care

Requirements Must be independently licensed in Virginia or Maryland

Licensure in Washington, D.C. preferred, with priority given to clinicians licensed across all jurisdictions

Passion for high-quality, compassionate mental health care

Commitment to ongoing professional development

1–3 years of desired experience

Must be local

Experience working with a range of diverse clientele preferred

Availability during after-school hours, evenings, or weekends preferred

Willingness to work a hybrid schedule; some in-person availability preferred
