Registered Nurse (RN) Short Term Care (Nights)

MUST HAVE EPIC EXPERIENCE! Effective Immediately, You MUST include your New York Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate up front with all Glens Falls Hospital nursing submissions. This license is required by the state of NY in order to staff for temporary needs. As of 1/1/2024 - ALL new AND returning agency staff must have completed training from one of following groups for onboarding and clearance. Welle - (Verbal De-escalation bundle training required) OR CPI - OR PMCS -
COVID vaccinations encouraged, but not required.
# of Beds in unit: 25 beds
RN to Patient ratio: 1:6
Patient Population: MS/Oncology (typically adult-geriatric)

Holiday, OT multipliers: 1.25%

Magnet Recognition is the gold standard for nursing excellence. To receive Magnet Recognition by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), an organization must demonstrate excellent quality outcomes, satisfied patients, and engaged nurses.
EPIC Experience - Required
Experience in Oncology care not required, but highly preferred & encouraged
May float as needed including to Med-Tele Unit
Travel experience required - no exceptions
License/Certifications - Must be uploaded with profile (Current Nursys, BLS and ACLS - Facility will not pend license/certs)
Permanent address must be included in profile. Travelers from the following counties in New York will not be considered for travel assignments at Glens Falls (Perm address must be included in profile):
