Electrical EngineerWe are seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer to play a critical role in the planning, coordination, design and execution of electrical systems on complex construction projects. This position collaborates closely with project managers, site engineers, superintendents, subcontractors, and design partners to ensure electrical scopes are fully coordinated, constructible, and aligned with project goals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys both technical problem-solving and field collaboration, and who believes there's always a better way to build when teams work together.ResponsibilitiesServe as the electrical engineering resource for assigned construction projectsDevelop engineering documents for various scopes of work depending on the projectTroubleshoot and resolve electrical design, coordination, and constructability challengesReview and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, and means-and-methodsProvide practical, field-informed solutions to design gaps and unforeseen conditionsCollaborate with Project Managers, Superintendents, Site Engineers, subcontractors, and design partnersLead or support electrical coordination efforts with other tradesEvaluate risks related to cost, schedule, safety, and quality—and develop mitigation strategiesSupport preconstruction with budgeting, scope review, and constructability inputParticipate in operation planning, pre-install meetings, and critical coordination discussionsMentor and support junior engineers and project team membersUphold JP Cullen's standards for safety, quality, and teamwork on every projectQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Professional Engineering licenseAt least five years of Design experience.
