Travel Respiratory Therapy (RRT) Position

License: RRT or NBRC certification preferred

Must-Have: Minimum of 6 months current acute care hospital RRT experience BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications

Description: This position is for a travel RRT role. The unit is a 240-bed facility with 15 respiratory therapy staff. Minimum staffing for day and night shifts is 3 staff members. The patient ratio is an average of 30-40 points per shift. Required skills include administering treatments, ventilator setup, assisting with intubation, and performing arterial blood gases. Patient and staff education, as well as all respiratory therapy interventions, are part of the responsibilities. Experience in emergency departments, pediatrics, ICU, NICU, and medical-surgical units is valued. Candidates should be team players and demonstrate collaboration within the unit. Flexible scheduling is offered, giving respiratory therapists autonomy in NICU and ICU settings. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to play a key role in patient care and therapy.
