Journeyman Electrician

Hourly rate of $43.02 per hour. Incentives: $100 per day for fully completed shifts from Monday to Friday, $150 per day on Saturdays and Sundays, and $100 per day non‑taxed per diem for candidates whose residence is 100 miles or more from the job site.

Must hold a state journeyman license and be willing to reciprocate in North Dakota within 30 days of hire.

Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment at client locations. Duties include troubleshooting electrical issues, ensuring compliance with safety and electrical codes, performing preventive maintenance, and working in industrial, commercial, or residential settings. This position eventually joins the Local IBEW Union.

Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment according to local and national codes.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical malfunctions or equipment failures on‑site.

Plan layout and installation of electrical systems for construction or renovation projects.

Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections on electrical components and systems.

Test electrical systems using specialized tools (voltmeters, oscilloscopes, ammeters, etc.).

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure timely and accurate work completion.

Document all work performed, including repairs, replacements, and system updates.

Provide field reports and recommendations for system improvements or upgrades.

Has field experience as an electrician on large projects.

Holds a state journeyman license.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1–3 years of industry experience performing field work.

Dedicated team player with strong customer service orientation.
