Registered Nurse - ICU
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Night shift, working 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00).
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced ICU nurse to provide high-quality care for critically ill patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intensive care nursing and be proficient in managing complex patient needs.
Responsibilities
Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing nursing care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Manage arterial lines, central lines, and ventilator settings.
Conduct nursing assessments and document patient progress in the Epic charting system.
Provide support to interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
Educate patients and their families about care plans and health management.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required.
EPIC experience strongly preferred.
Willingness to float to different ICU floors as needed.
Must be able to care for COVID patients.
