As a Registered Nurse in the Infusion Cancer Center at the David M. Sindelar Cancer Center, you'll work alongside a certified oncology nursing team, physicians, pharmacists, and support staff to deliver high-quality infusion therapies in a welcoming outpatient setting.
Patients often return regularly throughout their treatment journey, giving you the opportunity to build lasting relationships while providing exceptional care during some of their most challenging moments.
Whether you have previous oncology experience or are looking to grow into this rewarding specialty, you'll be supported by an experienced team committed to patient-centered care. Registered Nurse (RN) - Oncology Infusion Center - Mercy South

Part-Time | 24 Hours/Week | Mon-Fri | Day Shift | 8:00am-4:30pm
As an Infusion RN, you will:
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products, hydration therapy, and other infusion medications
Collaborate with oncologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, and support staff to coordinate treatment plans
Educate patients and families on medications, side effects, symptom management, and ongoing care needs
Review laboratory results and communicate significant findings to the care team
Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in the electronic health record
Maintain oncology treatment safety standards and infection prevention practices
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current, valid RN license

Patients can choose from multiple treatment spaces, including a community treatment area, an open infusion room with natural views, a fireplace and virtual aquarium, or private treatment rooms.
