Head of Delivery Management

Location-New Jersey/NYC We are seeking a Delivery/Sales partner with a strong emphasis on execution, delivery governance, and account growth within a smaller P&L scope.
This role is primarily responsible for ensuring successful delivery of IT services engagements while supporting revenue growth through existing accounts, The individual will manage a mid-sized portfolio ($2M–$8M range) and act as the key bridge between clients, delivery teams, and stakeholders.
Account Management & Growth (Existing Clients)
Act as the primary client-facing delivery leader for assigned accounts.
Identify and drive organic growth opportunities (upsell/cross-sell within existing engagements).
Support account expansion initiatives in collaboration with sales teams.
Delivery Ownership
Own end-to-end delivery across accounts/projects within the portfolio.
Delivered with strong quality and customer satisfaction
Drive delivery governance, including status reviews, risk mitigation, and escalation management.
Manage resource planning, utilization, and margins for assigned accounts.
Financial & P&L Accountability
Manage a portfolio-level P&L (approx. $Work closely with delivery managers, tech leads, and offshore teams.
Ensure alignment between client expectations and delivery execution.
Mentor junior delivery managers / leads within the account.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
Drive process improvements, standardization, and best practices across delivery.
Implement feedback loops to improve delivery efficiency and client experience.
12–16 years in IT services / consulting, with strong delivery and farming within existing accounts
- Proven experience managing mid-sized accounts or programs
- Experience handling end-to-end delivery with financial accountability
Strong delivery governance and execution mindset
Good commercial understanding (P&L, margins, utilization)
Ability to identify growth from existing accounts (farming mindset)
Excellent client communication and stakeholder management
Practical experience with Agile, managed services, and offshore delivery models
Background in IT services and Consulting firms
