Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA)
Location: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL
Elmhurst Hospital (Floating), Elmhurst, IL
Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
Hours: 3/12 Hour Shifts Weekends and Holidays No Call
Hourly Pay Range: $57.79 - $79.76 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.
Coordination of care with neurosurgeons, hospitalists, nursing, therapy, and other consulting services
Management of postoperative complications and urgent patient concerns
Discharge planning and coordination
Facilitating timely transitions of care
Under the direction of the collaborating physician(s), provides care to patients
Follows patients through their course of treatment in the clinic and hospital setting
Collaborates with physicians and the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
Prescribes pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies as appropriate
Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of standards of practice in the specialty
Employs strategies, interventions and teaching to promote, maintain, and improve health
Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease
Promotes wellness and prevent illness and injury in various settings for individuals, families, and communities
Positively contributes to safety outcomes and promoting high-quality patient experience
Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of service line goals
Adheres to all Endeavor Health policies and procedures
Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) or Physician Assistant (PA) Licensure in the State of IL required; Prior APN/PA experience in neurology or neurosurgery is preferred APNs must have a first assist certification for this role
