EōS Fitness’s Operations Manager, reporting to the District Operations Manager, oversees the Service team and day‑to‑day tasks to achieve Operational Excellence throughout the gym. Beyond greeting and directing members, guests, and team members upon entry, they serve as representatives of our gym’s commitment to exceptional service. Responsibilities include customer service, monitoring and tracking revenue goals, managing retail, member fee compliance, inspecting and reporting on gym functionality and cleanliness, and partnering with the sales, fitness, facilities, and marketing teams to improve overall gym performance and uphold brand standards. The Operations Manager remains flexible and adaptive to the evolving needs of our gym, with duties subject to change under management discretion.
Lead, coach, and train the Service team to create a fun atmosphere, be great hosts, and act as the hub for information for our members, guests, and staff.
Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff members, including kids club, front desk, and janitorial staff.
Provide constructive feedback to staff members on their performance, using clear and specific language to highlight areas of strength and areas for improvement.
Ensure high‑quality customer service by addressing member concerns or complaints, managing membership inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain proper certifications, and implement safety protocols.
Supervise maintenance and cleanliness of the facility, including equipment, locker rooms, and common areas.
Partner with Sales, Fitness, Facilities and Marketing teams to improve overall gym performance and uphold brand standards.
Monitor and order inventory such as fitness equipment, cleaning supplies, and retail products.
2‑3 years of operations management experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with employees, management, and vendors.
3‑4 years of customer service experience.
Excellent relationship building and influencing skills with people at all levels and functions.
good time management, organizational, and record‑keeping skills.
Excellent MS Office skills.
Intimately knowledgeable and up to date on all current company policies and SOPs to ensure adherence to such policies and standard operating procedures.
Ability to access and operate company computer systems to prepare documents, enter data, and read reports from databases or email systems.
