A nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm is seeking a Conflicts Attorney to join its growing team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with direct law firm conflicts experience who enjoys sophisticated analytical work, navigating complex ethical issues, and serving as a trusted advisor to attorneys and firm leadership.
This highly visible role offers exposure to firm leadership, meaningful responsibility, and the opportunity to work on complex conflicts, new business intake, lateral attorney onboarding, and professional responsibility matters within a collaborative and respected national platform.
Analyze and resolve conflicts of interest related to new business intake, matter openings, and lateral attorney onboarding
Conduct complex conflicts research utilizing internal systems and external databases
Evaluate legal, ethical, and business risks associated with prospective representations
Draft conflict waivers, disclosures, engagement letter language, and supporting documentation
Partner closely with attorneys, firm leadership, and internal stakeholders regarding professional responsibility and risk management matters
Conduct lateral attorney conflicts reviews and assist with onboarding-related conflict clearance processes
Support attorney and staff education regarding conflicts procedures and professional responsibility obligations
from an accredited law school
however, qualified remote candidates will be considered
Minimum of 3 years of direct law firm conflicts experience required
Experience analyzing conflicts, new business intake, lateral attorney conflicts, or professional responsibility matters within a law firm environment required
Experience working within a mid-sized or large law firm environment strongly preferred
Ability to manage highly confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
