Position: Cardiac Short Stay Cardiac Short Stay department that primarily takes care of patients pre and post CVL procedures. It is open 24 hours a day to accommodate that throughput. 2 years of nursing experience is required, at least one of which is on a cardiac unit. Must be competent with venous sheath pulls.

Their main patient population is trauma surgery, post bariatric surgery, post abdominal surgery, post amputation surgery, urological issues, etc. They also take overflow medically and cardiac. The certifications needed are ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Special Equipment : venous sheath pullscardiac drips such as Nitroglycerin, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Heparin, Lasix, etc.

Will take pending certs Charting Cerner experience required Background Policy to be noted prior to submission Nursys only Return Staff Policy must be gone 3 years before returning as a traveler The travelers need to complete up to 8hours of modules within 1 week of signing for Beacon Preferred Modules: Module hours are billable up to 8 hours, average 3-8 hours spent on modules Modules are completed pre-start Modules are self-reported
