Registered Nurse PRNApplylocations: JR100166Registered Nurse PRNAn **Emergency Department (ED) Registered Nurse (RN)** is crucial in providing immediate and comprehensive care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions or emergencies. Triage:** Assign triage categories to ensure timely care based on the urgency of each patient's condition.* **Emergency Care:** Provide care to patients of all ages, including neonates, children, adults, and geriatrics, following established protocols and guidelines.* **Supervision:** Oversee the work of support staff such as Emergency Room Technicians (ERTs) and other healthcare personnel, ensuring a collaborative and efficient workflow.* **Collaboration:** Work closely with physicians and other healthcare staff to develop and implement patient care plans.* **Infection Control:** Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment to prevent infection and promote patient safety.* **Continuous Education:** Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities, attending staff meetings, and engaging in quality improvement initiatives.**Position Requirements:*** Two years of emergency room experience.* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.* Current Licensure with the State Board of Nurse Examiners for their state.* Current BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC preferred* Educational requirements appropriate for meeting the age-specific needs of patients presenting to the emergency center, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, including emergency procedures required for stabilizing patients of all ages.* Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.**Personal Attributes:*** **Team Player:** Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.* **Critical Thinking:** Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in emergencies.**Adverse/Hazardous Conditions - Potential injuries from physical efforts and chemical irritants.
