RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Contract | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care / Intermediate Care / Step-Down unit setting
Monitor and assess patients requiring a higher level of observation than a general medical-surgical floor
Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and execute individualized patient care plans
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan or compact licensure eligibility
Current BLS certification
Experience in a PCU, IMC, or Step-Down unit environment
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
ACLS certification
Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
Familiarity with electronic health record systems
