PRN Therapy--PTA

Physical Therapy Assistants work closely with Physical Therapists and other PTAs to provide rehabilitative care to patients. Duties and responsibilities of a Physical Therapy Assistant include but are not limited to the following:Patient assessment:Observing patients before, during, and after therapy to monitor progress and report findings to the physical therapist.Treatment implementation:Performing manual therapy techniques like stretching, massage, and joint mobilizations as directed by the physical therapist.Exercise instruction:Guiding patients through specific exercises to improve strength, range of motion, and functional abilities.Equipment usage:Setting up and operating therapeutic equipment like electrical stimulation units, traction devices, and exercise machines.Patient education:Instructing patients and their families on home exercise programs and proper use of assistive devices.Documentation:Maintaining detailed patient records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.Communication:Collaborating with the physical therapist to adjust treatment plans as needed and communicating any concerns or changes in patient status.E04JI8020gtr4099pb7
