Barback - Crooked Hammock Brewery
Summary of Position: At Crooked Hammock Brewery, Barbacks are essential to keeping the bar running smoothly from start to finish. In this role, you'll support the bartending team by staying ahead on stocking, prep, and cleanliness, helping to create a seamless flow of service even during the busiest shifts. Keep the bar fully stocked with glassware, ice, liquor, beer, and supplies at all times
Change kegs and retrieve product from walk-in coolers as needed
Wash and restock glassware, shakers, and bar tools
Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including wiping down surfaces and cleaning spills quickly
Be a team player and assist bartenders with any additional tasks to support seamless service
Live as a brand ambassador and make decisions in the best interest of CHB at all times
Must be at least 18 years old
Flexibility of schedule to assume responsibilities as needed, ability to balance personal & professional life
Must work nights and weekends
Hospitality soul with guest friendly demeanor
Proficiency in basic computer applications, word processing, spreadsheet, internet, POS
This position requires the ability to lift up to 55 pounds and maneuver 170 pounds as well as climbing up and down stairs quite frequently during shifts
