RN - Registered Nurse - ICU - Neurology (Weekend Position)

Registered Nurse Neuro Icu

The position requires a registered nurse specializing in the Neuro ICU. The schedule consists of a day/night rotation with shifts every other weekend. Weekend shifts are defined as Friday and Saturday nights. Experience in a Neuro ICU setting is required. Candidates must have 2 years of nursing experience. Floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity is required. Skills required involve IV start and telemetry management. Experience with ventilators and intracranial pressure monitoring is essential. Ability to work with Epic charting system is necessary. The patient population includes individuals experiencing strokes, seizures, and post-operative neurosurgery recovery. The work setting includes interdisciplinary support from various medical teams. Travel experience is preferred but not mandatory.
