Purpose: The Latitude Lead Bartender is responsible for assisting the F&B Operational Managers with the overall dining program and execution of all aspects of the culinary experience for the community. This includes daily operation of the restaurant and bar, training new employees, to catering and special events.
Ensuring that the restaurant is set for lunch / dining by setting decorations, condiments, napkins and utensils.
Protect establishment and Residents by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol beverage control policies.
Possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact and communicate successfully to the residents and team.
Keep current with industry concepts, practices, and procedures that fully align with the Latitude Margaritaville Brand.
Stay updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items, etc.
Assist with special events as needed.
Promptly address customer service issues and refer customers to management when necessary.
Daily Operations and Customer Experience: Maintains a high level of Resident contact throughout service hours.
Builds strong, effective teams through ongoing supervision, training, coaching, counseling and leadership.
Ensure proper response and handling of all community emergencies through training with staff, residents, buildings, etc. Ensure compliance with all company, local, state and federal safety rules.
Ensure the utmost proper hygiene by monitoring staff for clean and proper uniforms, personal grooming and food handling.
Education: High school Diploma or equivalent.
Strong leadership skills, able to develop a team in front of house.
Must be willing to work nights and weekends.
Current with culinary and dining trends and styles
Basic knowledge of beer, wine, & spirits.
Full-Time
Must be able to work Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
Evening, weekend, & holiday availability required
