Overview Delivering Dreams of Arizona has been serving the Greater Phoenix area for over 60 years, providing programs for children living in poverty.

Programs Delivering Dreams Bus – provides new school clothing, shoes and hygiene items to children living in poverty.

HUGS – provides comforting teddy bears to children experiencing crisis through the Phoenix Fire Department and other social service agencies.

Book Gifts – distributes childrens' books to every child served through Operation School Bell, as well as Title I schools and social service agencies that serve families.

Wee Help – assists new mothers living in poverty by providing layettes filled with necessities for their newborn child.

Volunteer Opportunity Volunteers are needed to help sort and process donations for a community thrift store. All proceeds from the store go directly into programs that serve children living in poverty in the Phoenix area.

About the Role This position is great for individuals who like to sort and organize items, or anyone wishing to make new friends with common interests.

Responsibilities Sorting/Processing involves taking items out of boxes and bags and sorting them for cleanliness and usability/sell-ability, and by brand, style, and season.

Other duties include tagging, organizing, storing, cleaning.

Electronic items will be tested to ensure they are in working condition.

Schedule Volunteer opportunities are available Monday thru Saturday from 9am to 4pm. Flexible hours available.

Location Located in North Central Phoenix, theThrift Boutique is known for its friendly environment and clean store, offering shoppers quality items at great prices.
