CASHIER FULL TIME AND PART TIME FLEXIBLE HOURS

Get paid daily! The responsibilities of the Ace Hardware Cashier is to scan the customer’s selections, ensure that the prices and quantities are accurate, accept payment, issue receipts, answer inquiries, provide helpful information to customers about products, promotions, item location and some stocking. Cashiers also respond to complaints with genuine concern, assist the Store Director in creating a positive store atmosphere for customers and a positive working environment for Associates while working in a safe manner

Greet Customers. Project a friendly manner

Engage the customer in casual conversation

Show respect toward customers purchases

Maintains customer satisfaction by providing solutions to concerns

Performs product scanning and processing of customer's orders in an accurate, efficient, and prompt manner

Packages customer purchases in an organized fashion

Keeps work station and surrounding area clean, organized and well stocked

Follows all store and department policies and procedures

Follows safety policies and proceduresOther duties as assigned by supervisor

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.

Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and associates.
