Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing disorders while helping patients achieve greater independence and improved quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients for speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
Provide speech and language therapy interventions to improve communication skills.
Assess and treat dysphagia and swallowing disorders.
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams.
Ensure compliance with professional, ethical, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) License required.
Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
CCC-SLP certification preferred.
Current BLS certification preferred.
Strong assessment, treatment planning, and communication skills.
Previous rehabilitation, skilled nursing, post-acute care, or healthcare experience preferred.
