Veterinary Hospital- Full time/ Part Time Vet Position

Overview
Brigadoon Animal Hospital is a canine and feline general practice. We are looking for an additional associate doctor to keep up with our steady, continued growth in a collaborative, friendly environment that challenges your medical and surgical skills in a low‑stress setting.

Responsibilities
Perform general practice skills, with the option to focus on specialty areas such as ultrasound or orthopedic surgery. We can provide resources to further your training in additional areas.

Four‑day work week, 8 a.m.-6 p.m., with two Saturday shifts per month, 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

Full‑time preferred, but open to part‑time or relief work.

Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent from an accredited university.

Active Veterinary State License.

Current DEA License or obtained upon hire.

Licensed DVM in good standing with the state of NC.

New graduate or seasoned doctor with medical and surgical skills.

Committed to practicing high‑quality, evidence‑based medicine.

Collaborative, open to new ideas, and ready to contribute to a tight‑knit community.

Able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment with a variety of challenging cases.

About the Practice
Serving the community for over 35 years, Brigadoon is a privately owned practice serving dogs and cats with 4 exam rooms and ample space for general, preventive, and dental procedures. We provide preventive, wellness, and sick medical appointments, soft‑tissue surgery, and dentistry. We welcome unique skills to expand our service offerings.

Boarding kennel onsite, staffed by kennel personnel, ensures assistants and technicians can focus on your patients. We serve vacationers and are the second physician for many part‑time residents.

Located minutes to Emerald Isle beaches and a short drive to Topsail Island, the area offers many activities to enhance life outside work.

Our staff includes two seasoned veterinarians and an abundance of assistants, technicians, receptionists, and kennel assistants, all dedicated to creating a seamless, stress‑free workplace.
