Our Hygienists focus on building relationships with patients and having strong communication in order to deliver an exceptional patient experience. Perform hygiene clinical procedures, including oral prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing, sealants, fluoride, oral cancer screenings and x-rays
Educate patients on the importance of oral hygiene, as well as instructions and demonstrations of effective oral hygiene methods
Obtain and review dental history and/or records from patient (review patient health history and care slips) and ensure health history is updated for all returning patients
Qualifications Degree or certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program and a valid state license
X-Ray/Radiology Certification where state regulations specify
