Manufacturing EngineerOur client, an Aerospace And Defense company, is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for their Orlando, FL location. Responsibilities include designing manufacturing processes, procedures, and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining, and material handling. The role also involves designing the arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure the most efficient and productive layout, designing the sequence of operations and specifying procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment, adapting machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions, incorporating inspection and test requirements into the production plan, inspecting the performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, developing manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, providing guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques, ensuring processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations, and creating efficient production workflows, integrating new technologies, and ensuring high quality manufacturing outcomes.Requirements include thriving in a collaborative environment, being detail oriented, and continuously seeking ways to enhance efficiency, reduce cost, and improve quality. The ideal candidate should have experience in shaping cutting edge manufacturing solutions on high impact programs. Required experience includes Computer Aided (CAD) software, CAM software, G-code, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T) interpretation skills, knowledge of precision measuring tools, gauges, and equipment, general understanding of Mil-Spec special processes, proficiency with Microsoft Office products, experience utilizing CREO or NX for CAD, experience utilizing CREO or NX for CAM, experience with chem film, paint applications and other special processes, experience utilizing Vericut, familiarity with ISO9000 and AS9100 industry standards, and common military specifications. Effective project management, SAP, Apriso, Windchill PLM, and good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written, are also required.Why Should You Apply?
