Food Runner/Expediter
Verdigris Restaurant And Oxford Oaks Distillery in Oxford, NC is looking for one food runner/expediter to join our strong team. We are located on 127 College St. Our ideal candidate is attentive, motivated, and hard-working.
Responsibilities
Expediter
Serve as the communication bridge between front and back of house.
Review all outgoing plates to ensure accuracy, presentation, and quality.
Organize ticket flow and prioritize orders during service.
Ensure special requests, dietary restrictions, and modifications are communicated clearly.
Maintain composure during high-volume service and ensure timely delivery of dishes.
Food Runner
Deliver dishes to the correct tables promptly, accurately, and gracefully.
Clearly describe food components and answer basic guest questions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the expo and server station areas.
Assist with dessert service.
Support servers and other team members in creating a smooth guest experience.
Qualifications
Able to move in a fast paced environment
Prior experience in a restaurant is preferred
Reliable transportation
