Phlebotomist III FloaterJob Duration: 2 months (possible extension)Job Location: Neptune, NJ 07753Shift: M-F 7:00am-5:00pm EST-Possible alt Sat 7:00am-12:00pmPay Range: $ 26.88/hr.Job DescriptionDraw quality blood samples from patients and prepare those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.Have direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.Demonstrate Leadership Behaviours while focusing on process excellence skills and sensitivity to confidentiality and accuracy to patient information.Performs with confidence, both the forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties following established practices and procedures.Maintains required records and documentation.Demonstrates organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public in general.RequirementsThree years phlebotomy experience required, inclusive of pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.Customer service experience in a healthcare or retail setting (Preferred)Basic computer and data entry skillsAdditional RequirementsReliable personal transportation (public transportation, Uber, or rideshare not acceptable)Valid driver's license and clean driving record (Required)Eligible for mileage reimbursement when traveling between sitesMust be punctual and ready to work at any assigned location within the coverage areaSkillsStrong phlebotomy and patient interaction skillsIndependent and able to manage time effectivelyFlexible, adaptable, and dependable in changing environmentsAbility to multitask in a high-volume settingProfessional and patient-focused attitudeWork EnvironmentThis is a float position that will require frequent travel between patient service centers and in-office phlebotomy sites within the assigned region.
