Server Position at Champion Hills Golf Club
Champion Hills Golf Club, located in Hendersonville, NC, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Server! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Key Responsibilities:

Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
Describes specials of the day to guests. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offers suggestions when appropriate.
Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food promptly after preparation.
Follows up with guests to ensure satisfaction. Replenishes items as needed.
Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests.
Maintains an organized workstation and side work duties.
Sets up and breaks down golf stations every shift.
Maintains accountability for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes the Point of Sale system.
Follows established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders.
Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, food delivery, and general service techniques.
Practices tray service for all food and beverage service.
Must be cross-trained in bartending service.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
Performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:

~ Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages.

Knowledge/Skill:

Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the
Knowledge of POS systems.
Education and Experience:

~ High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Certificates/Licenses:

Food Safety and Sanitation Training and Alcohol Awareness Training.
Valid driver's license required (will be required when operating the ball picker and golf cart).
