This position is responsible for ensuring proper application of internal and external accounting requirements across all business processes & functions used in the development of financial statements. Lead and develop team of finance professionals, use of effective communication to improve business results and meet strategic company objectives.Develop and approve journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and perform variance analysis and communication. Generate accurate and timely monthly financial statements. Provide oversight to Accounts Payable for problem solving and process improvements. Evaluate weekly payment proposals for accuracy. Business partner providing guidance and training on accounting matters to other business functions such as Procurement, Engineering, and Operations. Drive process improvements, communicate cost savings opportunities and spending issues. Coach, mentor, and develop a team of financial professionals.
